October 7, feature film, Cold Mountain (Civil War theme)

October 8, 9:30-11:45am: Workshop, Best Practices for Public History and Library Internships. 1-2:30pm: Lecture by Gary D. Saretzky, “Ere the Shadow Fades”: New Jersey’s Civil War Photographers”

October 11, 9am-3:30pm. Archives and History Day. 62 exhibitors; keynote at 1pm by historian and musician Joe Becton at 1pm on Civil War Music; tour of Monmouth County Archives; awards presentations.

Exhibit: The Civil War: New Jersey in Focus, on view for month of October in gallery of Monmouth County Library HQ, in same building as Archives Week events.
