The Center for Jewish History’s Collection Services is having an information session on oversize collection materials. Each of the departments with Collection Services, which include Digital Services, Archival Services and Preservation Services, will speak about the unique challenges of oversize materials. Digital Services Manager Jennifer Rodewald will talk about general considerations and CJH capabilities of digitizing large formats; Archival Services Manager Kevin Schlottmann will discuss archival description of oversize collections; and Preservation Services Manager Felicity Corkill will cover handling techniques and storage options for these materials.
