Housing in New York YouTube Series sponsored by LaGuardia and Wagner Archives at LaGuardia Community College/CUNY

The LaGuardia and Wagner Archives at LaGuardia Community College/CUNY is proud to present “Housing in New York,” a collection of films produced by the Archives. This collection of films examines housing in New York from a variety of periods and perspectives with special attention to public housing, segregation, and gentrification.

For example, the Rosedale film chronicles the little known story of housing discrimination in Queens. The interviews with Rosedale residents who lived through integration are especially illuminating.

The playlist can be accessed online anytime during Archives Week (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4A8313LQdwiikWuxVbZ1BgDEVbjw5P7V&disable_polymer=true
