United Nations Archives Repository Tour

United Nations Archives

The United Nations Archives is responsible for the records of the Secretaries-General, Secretariat departments, peacekeeping missions, and various predecessor organizations. Our colleagues from the Dag Hammarskjold Library, who manage the General Assembly and Security Council records, will also be joining us.

Our repository and reading room are in midtown Manhattan. There will be 4 one-hour tours of the archives and an overview of our holdings, followed by a question-and-answer session.

There are no security procedures to get into the archives. However, if you would like to individually schedule a tour of the UN Secretariat, you will need a valid ID and to go through a security checkpoint. Tour times and ticket information can be found here: http://visit.un.org/content/guided-tours.

Both facilities are handicap accessible. If you need additional assistance in order to participate, please let us know when you RSVP so we can ensure that your needs are met.

Registration is required for this event. Please email arms@un.org with the tour date you prefer to RSVP for this event. Dates for tours are October 19, 21, 25 and 27, each beginning at 3 pm.
