Meant to Be Heard: Voices from the Community will feature three oral history programs: Queens MemoryNew York Public Library’s Community Oral History Project, and StoryCorps.  This program will feature the work of these programs as well as the impact on individuals and communities who have contributed oral histories.  You’ll hear the stories of fellow New Yorkers and will learn how to conduct and preserve your own oral histories of family members, friends, and neighbors.

Light refreshments will be served.
