The Library for the Performing Arts houses the circulating, research, and archival collections of NYPL’s Dance, Music, Theatre, and Recorded Sound Divisions. Join curators, librarians, and Special Collections staff as they present highlights from LPA’s unique holdings, showcasing the wide variety of materials and formats the Library collects and preserves. From hidden treasures and recent discoveries to prized artifacts and collection curiosities, staff will discuss their continued efforts to document and make accessible the rich history and significant impact of the performing arts in New York and beyond.

Event is limited to 20 participants. Please RSVP by Friday, October 20 to jennifereberhardt@nypl.org. Before proceeding to the Screening Room on the 3rd floor of the Library for the Performing Arts, guests will be required to check all coats & bags at the security desk near the 3rd floor elevators.
