The Archivists Round Table is pleased to announce an archives and exhibitions tour and reception at design gallery R & Company.

Celebrating 20 years in business, R & Company represents a distinguished group of historic and contemporary designers whose work is among the most innovative and finely crafted of their time. Initially founded as R 20th Century in 1997 by Zesty Meyers and Evan Snyderman, the gallery is defined by their combined goals of promoting a closer study, appreciation, and preservation of 20th and 21st century design.

The mission of the R & Company Archives and Library department is to cultivate a deeper understanding of the history of modern design in the United States, Latin America, and Europe, in the context of special collections encompassing rare books, primary documents, ephemera, photographs and design drawings.
R & Company welcomes independent researchers, curators, collectors, designers, architects, artists, design enthusiasts, and students and faculty of related fields to participate in utilizing the collections for research and education.

The exhibitions currently on view include a historical presentation of Brazilian mid century design firm Forma, an immersive installation of biomorphic sculptural works by Rogan Gregory, and an exhibition of German toy designer Renate Müller.
