The Archivists Round Table of Metropolitan New York, Inc. (A.R.T.) encourages you to participate in the Speed Networking Hour at this year's A.R.T. Holiday Party!

What Is the Speed Networking Hour?
The Speed Networking Hour offers an easy, informal way for archives students and new professionals to meet and connect with experienced archivists from a range of institutions, and to forge a potential mentor/mentee relationship with one or more archivists that will be invaluable as they embark upon their careers.

The Networking Hour will operate on a rotating schedule, where each student or new professional (the mentees) will have three minutes to meet and chat with each mentoring archivist.  After the conclusion of the Networking Hour, mentees and mentors are welcome and encouraged to continue their conversations during the Holiday Party.

What Will You Need to Prepare?
Nothing!  No formalities, no pressure - the Networking Hour is designed so that students and new professionals can have an enjoyable conversation with future colleagues whom they may otherwise not have the opportunity to meet and learn from outside a strictly professional setting.  In the spirit of the holiday season, this is meant to be fun and relaxed - in fact, all Networking Hour participants will have early access to the Holiday Party drinks!

ADMISSION
As the Speed Networking Hour is being offered as part of A.R.T.'s Holiday Party, all Networking Hour participants will be required to register for the Holiday Party.  Please visit the Holiday Party registration page to register online.
