Join the project team from ePADD, open source and freely downloadable software that uses machine learning and natural language processing to support the appraisal, processing, discovery, and delivery of email archives.

In November 2015, Stanford University Libraries, along with partners at the New York Metropolitan Library Council (METRO), Harvard University, UC Irvine, and UI Urbana-Champaign, received a second round of grant funding to further develop the program’s scalability, usability, and feature set.

In this session, Peter Chan (ePADD Project Manager and Digital Archivist, Stanford University) and Josh Schneider (ePADD Community Manager and Assistant University Archivist, Stanford University) will provide an overview of the software, demo the latest release, and answer specific questions about the project.
