Meant to Be Heard: Voices from the Community will feature speakers from three oral history programs: Lori Wallach, Natalie Milbrodt, and Robbie Garrison from Queens Memory, Alexandra Kelly from New York Public Library’s Community Oral History Project, and Madeleine Witenberg from StoryCorps.  This event will feature the work of these programs as well as the impact on individuals and communities who have contributed oral histories.  You’ll hear the stories of fellow New Yorkers and will learn how to conduct and preserve your own oral histories of family members, friends, and neighbors.

Light refreshments will be served.

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

Please note that in attending this event, you automatically grant your consent for the event to be photographed, video-recorded, or Facebook Live.
