Archives Week 2017 -- Tour the Brooklyn Collection
Please join the archivist of the Brooklyn Collection at Brooklyn Public Library for a tour of the collection and a look at our fall exhibition "Enacting Change: Women's Activism in Brooklyn," including a wine and cheese reception. The Brooklyn Collection is Brooklyn Public Library's local history division and archive and documents the history of Brooklyn from pre-colonial times to the present. A unique resource for the study of Brooklyn’s social and cultural history, the Brooklyn Collection is a distinct division of Central Library, and is BPL's only collection of archival and rare book material. Attendees will get the chance to see behind-the-scenes at the library and learn more about the archival collections we hold.
Please RSVP to the archivist, Diana Bowers-Smith, to reserve your spot on the tour: dbowers-smith@bklynlibrary.org.
