Sara Manco is the Director, Photographs at the National Geographic Society Special Collections. Manco combined her love of photography and history in graduate school where she earned a Masters in Photographic Preservation and Collections Management. After working at museums and archives across Washington, DC, Manco moved to National Geographic Society to care for the historic photography and art collection.
