The Condé Nast Archive is a leading repository of photography featuring fashion, celebrity, and lifestyle shots from publications such as House & Garden, Glamour, Vanity Fair, and Vogue dating from the 1890s to the present. With over eight-million assets amassed from more than 50 magazine titles, the extensive Condé Nast collections, represent more than 100 years of history, and include photographs, illustrations, cartoons, slides, correspondence, video, printed matter, and ephemera that touch on subjects from fashion and interior design to cooking and travel.
Join us for a tour of the Conde Nast Archive led by Corporate Photography Director, Ivan Shaw.
Ivan is currently the Corporate Photography Director overseeing the US Condé Nast Archive as well as serving as the Acting Visual Editor for The World of Interiors. Previously, he served as Photography Director of Vogue, a position he held for twenty years. Ivan also contributed to numerous books and exhibitions and has presented lectures on the history of fashion photography, both in the United States and England. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Detroit Institute of Arts Friends of Prints, Drawings and Photographs.
This is an in-person event, limited to 12 people.
