The Archivists Round Table of Metropolitan New York, Inc. (ART) is pleased to announce its January 2013 Programming Event, co-sponsored by the Archives and Public History Program at New York University:
Examining the International Council on Archives' "Principles of Access to Archives" Document

Join fellow ART members for a round of lightning presentations and small group discussion centering on the International Council on Archives' "Principles of Access to Archives" document, which ICA unanimously adopted in September 2012.  ART members will present case studies relating to each of the ten principles outlined in the document. After a round of brief presentations, we’ll break into small groups for discussion. At the end of the event we’ll reconvene and recommend to the ART Board whether or not ART should endorse the document.

The "Principles of Access to Archives" document is available online at:
