Join us for a curatorial tour of Street Food City at the Museum of Food and Drink. Street Food City celebrates the city’s smallest food businesses, revealing the hidden world behind the iconic NYC food cart, recognizing the ways in which street food vendors and the foods they sold have shaped the city’s foodways, and tracing the challenges faced by street food entrepreneurs of the past to today’s fight for vendor rights. Visitation includes a few street food inspired snacks (pretzel bites, honey roasted peanuts, halvah).

This is an in-person event limited to 30 people. No refunds for cancellations and registration is non-transferable. Please note that you MUST reserve a ticket in advance online in order to attend this event.

On the occasion that the event is sold out, we highly recommend joining the waitlist. A member of the A.R.T. staff will reach out to you if a spot becomes available. Unless you've been given permission, please do not show up at the event without registering.
