September 22nd may be the first day of Fall, but we’re keeping the summertime vibes going! Meet the Archivists Round Table Board of Directors at the Brooklyn Farmacy & Soda Fountain on Tuesday, September 22nd. Learn from each Director about their committees and how to get more involved with A.R.T., and meet fellow archivists and A.R.T. members.
The Board will be at the Farmacy from 6:30-8:30PM, so stop by anytime you’d like in that window.
Be sure to check out the gathering and publication launch that METRO is hosting down the street at the Center for Brooklyn History on this same evening!
This is an in-person event limited to 35 attendees. Registration is non-transferable. Please note that you MUST reserve a ticket in advance online in order to attend this event.
In the occasion that the event is sold out, we highly recommend joining the waitlist. An ART staff member will reach out to you if a spot becomes available. Unless you've been given permission, please do not show up at the event without registering.
How to find Brooklyn Farmacy
The Brooklyn Farmacy is located between the Carroll Street and Bergen Street F/G subway stations. The B61 and B57 buses run down nearby Columbia Street and Court Street, respectively.
Meeting Location
We’ll plan to be set up towards the back seating area inside of Brooklyn Farmacy, but if the weather is nice, we’ll go outside, too!
About
Brooklyn Farmacy & Soda Fountain was established in 2010 in a restored pharmacy from the 1920s. They have an extensive seasonal menu of sundaes, scoops, floats, shakes, egg creams, and more!
