Join Archivists Round Table for a tour of Fugitive Materials, a collection of archives, ephemera, and primary source documents specializing in global material cultures of resistance. Founded and operated by Daylon Orr and Maya Fell, Fugitive Materials is committed to the preservation of radical, lesser-known, and alternative histories, and to the disruption of informational privilege through archiving, publishing, and bookselling.
Fugitive Materials organizes, catalogs, and places archives and special collections, and publishes books, zines, and catalogs – oftentimes prompted by the archival materials they handle. A complete list of books and zines they have published and bookstores stocking Fugitive Materials can be found on the Publications page of their website.
Fugitive Materials is also a member of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America (ABAA). They buy and sell books, periodicals, and ephemera, and locate rare and out-of-print publications.
